Security plan finalized for P-206 Khanewal by-election

KHANEWAL (92 News) – A security plan has been finalized for the PP-206 Khanewal by-election to be held on December 16.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to deploy the Rangers for the by-election. The Rangers personnel will be deployed outside the polling stations. Moreover, the Rangers will patrol the constituency on the polling day.

The Pakistan Rangers have been given the powers of Magistrate Class 1.

Meanwhile, the PML-N has submitted an application to the ECP regarding the PP-206 by-election and demanded implementation of the code of conduct.
