Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) is a beacon of light for our young generation: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Seerat-un Nabi (SAW) is a beacon of light for the young generation.

Addressing a meeting regarding implementation of the National Single Curriculum on Monday, he said that the most important aspects of the life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) are ethics and good manners.

He said that Islamic history and the life and teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) should be taught to the children.

The prime minister directed to ensure immediate implementation of the Single National Curriculum with the cooperation of provincial governments. He directed that syllabus for Grade 6 to 12 should be finalized by the end of this year.

He expressed his satisfaction over the Education Ministry's performance for implementation of the national curriculum, which should be reviewed.

Earlier, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood briefed the meeting about the various aspects of Seeratun Nabi (SAW) made part of the syllabus. It was informed that a detailed consultation was held with the religious scholars of all schools of thought in this regard.
