Seminary teacher held for torturing students in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD (92 News) – The police have arrested a seminary teacher for torturing minor students in Masoom Shah Colony on Friday. Hafiz Shabbir Ahmed, the teacher, later turned out to be a police constable. The Cantt SHO told 92 News that the accused is not ashamed of his act. The police had earlier tried to conceal the job of their colleague. On the other hand, parents have refused to lodge a complaint against the teacher. However, the police said that a case will be registered on the complaint of the state. Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Hyderabad commissioner.
