ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani has on Wednesday allowed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nehal Hashmi to withdraw his resignation.

In his ruling, Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani said that the resignation tendered by the PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi on 31st May stands withdrawn.

The chairman said that Nehal Hashmi had requested to withdraw the resignation in a meeting with him in the chamber.

He asked the Secretary Senate to convey the ruling to the Leader of the House and Parliamentary Leader of PML-N.

Earlier, Senator Nehal Hashmi had on Tuesday met Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani and requested him not to accept his resignation.

He had relinquished his seat in the House after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took notice of his threatening speech against officials of Panama Leaks Joint Investigation Team and the judiciary.
