Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani rejects disqualification reference against Yusuf Raza Gilani

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday rejected the disqualification reference filed by the PTI against Senator Yusuf Raza Gilani.

Giving the ruling, the Senate chairman said that the allegations were levelled against Yusuf Raza Gilani as the prime minister and the MNA.

He said that there was no justification for filing the reference after being elected as the senator on March 3, 2021.

PTI Senator Azam Swati had filed the reference against former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani for giving costly vehicles to important personalities.
