Senate election: PPP wins seven seats, out of 11, in Sindh

KARACHI (92 News) – The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) won seven seats, out of 11, in Sindh in the Senate election on Wednesday.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) secured two seats each.

On the general seats, Sherry Rahman, Jam Mehtab Dehar, Saleem Mandviwala, Taj Haider and Shahdat Awan secured victories.

Faisal Sabazwari and Faisal Vawda were among the winners. Palosha Khan and Khalida Tayyab were elected senators on the seats reserved for women.

Farooq H Naik and Saifullah Abro won the technocrats' seats.
