Senate passes resolution against Indian brutalities in IOK

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan held a meeting under the chairmanship of Senator Professor Sajid Mir in Islamabad. The committee has called upon India to stop human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and urged international community to play its role in resolution of Kashmir issue accordance to the United Nations resolutions and wishes of Kashmiri people. Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir briefed the committee about stance of the government on Kashmir issue. The minister said government is taking all steps to raise the Kashmir issue on all international fora.
