ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Senate passes a unanimous resolution to express solidarity with the Palestinians on Monday. Bills pertaining to amendments to Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and consumer protection laws were also presented in the Upper House. Senator Agha Shahzeb Durrani presented a resolution regarding the flour crisis in the House. Meanwhile, the opposition staged a token walkout in protest against ‘non-serious’ attitude of the ministers and a delay in presenting the report on the flour crisis. PML-N Senator Raja Zafarul Haq said that the government had not expressed seriousness over the wheat crisis. “The government had assured that the report would be presented in the House today. Why has the report not been presented?” PTI’s Azam Swati said that the report had again been sent to the FIA as it had several questions. “The report will be completed and sent back to us. We will try to present the report in the next sessions.” PML-N Senator Mushahidullah Khan said that the prime minister had admitted his mistake in the flour crisis.
