Senate unanimously passes resolution against genocide of Muslims in Myanmar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Senate on Monday unanimously passed a resolution to condemn the genocide of Muslims in Myanmar.
The resolution was moved by the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).
The resolution demanded that the United Nations should send a delegation to Myanmar to stop the massacre of Muslims.
It said that the Myanmar government was violating the Charter of the United Nations by supporting the followers of Buddhists.
The resolution also asked the Pakistan government to take every possible step to raise the issue in the United Nations as well as at other forums.
