Senior journalists meet Chaudhry brothers, discuss political situation

LAHORE (92 News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) president and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and former federal minister Chaudhary Moonis Elahi met senior journalists here on Tuesday.

The current political situation in the country and party affairs were discussed during the meeting.

Chaudhary Shujaat said that there may be ideological differences in politics, but it should not be turned into personal enmity. "Now it is the time to think that nothing will happen. We all have to work together to find a solution." 

He said that all parties should forget their differences and come up with their own proposals against inflation. "Moonis Elahi will decide the ticket of MPA from Gujarat city in the next elections as he is the MNA of this constituency.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the map of politics will change in the next few years and new faces will come in the field of politics. "The Sharif brothers have betrayed us many times and they cannot be trusted. In the next elections, Pakistan will fight in alliance with the PTI," he added. 

Former federal minister Moonis Elahi said that Imran Khan has the ability to solve the problems of the country and their alliance with him will be maintained. "The PML-N government has completely failed to serve the people."
