Senior leaders like Shah Mahmood, Pervaiz Khattak will run party affairs if I was arrested: Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that senior leaders like Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Pervaiz Khattak will run the party affairs if he was arrested.

Talking to senior journalists on Saturday, he said that the time will soon change. "We will give big surprises in the coming days. The government has destroyed the economy. There is no solution to the problems except the elections.," he added.

Imran Khan said that President Arif Alvi should work according to the constitution. "I have no quarrel with the army. Today I called a meeting of lawyers for the release of the arrested workers," he added.

He expressed the resolve that the PTI will win the elections. "The next tickets are the right of the youth who are the best asset for the party," he maintained.

The PTI chairman said that it was done under a planning. "Why should we resort to sabotage if we are winning with the public support?" he questioned.
