Sentence suspended and bail granted in first stage, says Barrister Ali Zafar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Barrister Ali Zafar has said that the sentence has been suspended and the bail granted in the stage one, while the decision on the main appeal will be made in the stage two.

Talking exclusively to 92 News on Tuesday, he said that either the matter will be finished or the case will be remanded to the trial court. "The PTI chairman's right to defence was withheld. Legal requirements were not fulfilled in the Toshakhana case. Any court could suspend this judgment," he added.

Barrister Ali Zafar said that this judgment was certain as the Toshakhana case was bogus. "All cases against the PTI chairman were false," he maintained.

Kanwar Dilshad said that the disqualification of the PTI chairman will continue. "Disqualification will end only after an end to the sentence. The matter will again be sent to the trial court," he added.
