Jahangir Tareen asks investigators not to get instructions on phone

LAHORE (92 News) – Estranged PTI leader Jahangir Tareen has demanded an independent probe into the matter, asking the investigation team not to receive instructions on phone.

He was talking to the media after his hearing in the sessions court on Saturday. As many as eight MNAs and 22 MPAs also accompanied him.

Raja Riaz said that they request PM Imran Khan to take notice of the people targeting Jahangir Tareen. He and other likeminded leaders appealed to the prime minister to hold a meeting with them.

Raja Riaz said a letter bearing the signatures of 30 ministers and advisers would be sent to Imran Khan.

Earlier, a banking court extended the interim bail of Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen in different cases of money laundering and fraud till April 17. However, the sessions court extended the interim bail till April 22.
