KARACHI (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continued to suffer setbacks as two former federal ministers announced to quit the party on Saturday.

In a video message, former federal minister Ali Zaidi said that he was also resigning as Sindh PTI president.

"I have always been serving Pakistan and will continue to serve her. The armed forces are our pride. I have already condemned the May 9 incidents and condemn them. We will have to bring the people involved in the May 9 incidents to justice," he declared.

Meanwhile, former federal minister Khusru Bakhtiar also parted his ways with the PTI, saying that he could not go together with the PTI philosophy.

"I have been telling the party leadership for the last one year that conflict with the institutions will be detrimental. The May 9 incidents have forced me to distance myself from the PTI," he announced.
