Seven of a family killed as truck overturns on a house in Quetta

QUETTA (92 News) – At least seven persons of a family including woman and children were killed when a truck loaded with sand overturned on a house in Quetta’s Zarghoon Road area on Tuesday. As per details, the ill-fated incident occurred in Quetta’s Zarghoon Road area when a truck loaded with sand overturned on a house due to which the roof of the caved in, killing seven persons of a family including woman, her son and four daughters and a guest on the spot. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved the bodies from the rubble. The rescue officials also managed to retrieve a man, his son and his daughter alive from the rubble. They were shifted to hospital for medical assistance. The driver of the truck fled the scene after the incident.
