Seven killed in Attock roof collapse incident
ATTOCK (92 News) – Seven people were killed as roof of their mud house collapsed in Arang village in Attock on Friday.
According to the details, two women and four children are amongst the dead in the dreadful incident. After being informed about the mishap, the rescue teams reached at the spot and moved bodies to the nearby medical facility.
Meanwhile, the rescue teams recovered four people under the debris of house. The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained forthwith.
Three of a family die in Korangi roof collapse
On Feb 4, two people were killed and a seven-year-old girl went missing when the roof of a two-storey building collapsed in Korangi’s Gilgit Colony area.
The locals launched the rescue operation on self-help basis. Two bodies have been recovered while the operation to recover the girl is going on. The bodies have been shifted to hospital.
The deceased’s son alleged that his aunt and her sons living in the upper portion had thrown something on the roof that caused it to collapse. He said there is a dispute between both families.
Roof collapse incident kills three from same family in Kasur
In Last year December, three children from a same family were killed and one injured when the housetop collapsed in the village of Kasur. The deceased identified as 15 years old Maria, 7 years old Naeem and 6 years old Tahir. Injured girl was shifted in critical condition to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The life of parents were saved because they were sleeping at the courtyard. In the grievance, mother of the deceased children has been out of senses and father become silence. The residents of the area also in moaning condition.
Seven people wounded in Sheikhupura roof collapse
Earlier, seven people were wounded when the roof of a house caved in Haddoki Village. The injured include two children. Sources said that labourers were repairing the dilapidated house when its roof collapsed.
The Rescue 1122 staff reached the spot and shifted the injured to THQ Hospital for first-aid.
