GWADAR (92 News) - Seven labourers were killed in a terrorist attack on a residential quarter in Fish Harbour Jetty, Gwadar on Thursday.
The deceased, six of whom belonged to a family from Khanewal, were sleeping in the quarter when the terrorists opened fire on them. A man was wounded in the incident. After the incident, security forces launched a search operation in the area.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the killing of seven people in Gwadar. He prayed to Allah Almighty for peace for the departed souls. “We share the grief of the victim families. Such an attack is a cowardly act of anti-state elements,” he said, reiterating the resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country.
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and other political leaders expressed grief over the incident. Mohsin Naqvi expressed the resolve that they will eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country. Sarfraz Bugti said t hat the murder of innocent labourers was open terrorism. "We will not spare the people involved in this terrorism," he added.
