Seven-member Afghan military delegation visits 11 Corps Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – A seven-member high-level Afghan military delegation led by Lt Gen Muhammad Zaman Waziri, Commander 201 Corps, ANA, visited HQ 11 Corps Peshawar and held meetings with Commander Peshawar Corps Lt Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the meeting was also attended by DGMOs of both the Armies and IGFC KP. Both sides re-affirmed their resolve to continue their fight against terrorism. Areas of mutual security interests and concerns, including border security mechanism, were deliberated upon during the interaction. Both sides concluded that peace and stability can best be achieved through complementary efforts and enhanced cooperation.
