Several active members involved in getting extortion for banned TTP arrested
PESHAWAR (92 News) - Security forces on Saturday arrested several active members involved in getting extortion for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
During the preliminary investigations, startling revelations were made with regard to methods of taking extortion. The arrested accused have confirmed the presence of the banned TTP commander in Afghanistan.
In their confessional statement, the accused told security forces that banned TTP commander Abdur Razzaq used to give them instructions through WhatsApp. "Abdur Razzaq used to make calls from Afghanistan after getting the videos of people's shops and houses. Life or kidnap threats were hurled on delay in getting extortion," they disclosed.
Security forces are taking all-out steps to defend the people. They are gaining huge successes in the crackdown against extortionists and eliminating their ringleaders.
