Several dissident members will return due to public pressure, hopes PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan hoped that several dissident members will return due to public pressure.

Addressing a ceremony after laying the foundation stone of Rawalpindi Ring Road on Saturday, he said that a market had been set up to buy the lawmakers. "The acts being done in Sindh House cannot be done in the West. The PTI people had become a little bit emotional during the yesterday's protest," he maintained.

PM Imran Khan said that so historic number of people will attend the 27th public meeting in Islamabad.

About the opposition's no confidence motion, he said that the move is fortunate for the people as it will expose their corrupt practices in politics of the country.

Stressing the need to ring-fence the major cities for protecting cultivable land, he said that he had ordered the relevant authorities to produce master plans of all mega cities at the earliest. "Owing to a rapid increase in population, our cities are under stress. They are expanding and as a result, the green areas are eliminating. Special attention is being paid to all new projects to protect green areas and making them environment friendly," he added.

PM Imran Khan said that the projects like Central Business District and Ravi city will not only increase economic activities but also help control unplanned sprawl of the provincial capital.
