LAHORE (92 News) – Several MPAs belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at CM House on Tuesday. The MPAs, including Nishat Ahmed Daha, Maulana Ghiasuddin, Ashraf Ansari, Faisal Khan Niazi, Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Muhammad Arshad and Azhar Abbas, expressed their confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. They agreed to jointly work to serve the people of the province. “We are with you and will continue to support you,” they said. Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that former rulers had left no stone unturned to destroy the country. “We will go along with you for the progress of Punjab and resolve your due problems,” he added. Former MNA Tahir Bashir Cheema was also present. PML-N workers had misbehaved with Maulana Ghiasuddin outside the chamber of the opposition leader on Monday. Confirming his meeting, Ashraf Ansari said that Usman Buzdar was also his chief minister and he had met him in personal capacity to apprise him about the problems of his constituency. Meanwhile, Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz has taken notice of MPAs’ meeting with the chief minister. “People are starving, but the rulers are busy changing loyalties. Such efforts failed in the past and will fail in future as well,” he said. On the other hand, PPP Parliamentary Leader Hassan Murtaza has sought a reply from Ghazanfar Ali Khan.
