Several uplift projects will be launched in Gilgit-Baltistan: Gandapur
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said that the federal government will launch several uplift projects in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Addressing a press conference with Information Minister Syed Shibli Faraz on Monday, he said that the government would issue health cards for the entire population of Gilgit-Baltistan besides providing furniture to all schools.
He said that the government would also launch the power projects in the area. "Industrial zones will be established in the region. A road from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Gilgit-Baltistan will also be constructed," he added.
The minister said that the PTI had formed an alliance with the Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen for the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. "We hope that an alliance will also be formed with the Islami Tehreek," he added.
