Several workers held during countrywide protest against attack on Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Several workers were arrested during the countrywide protest on the call of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

At Faizabad, the police tear-gassed and arrested the workers.

In Lahore, traffic was disrupted due to the protest at Governor's House. The protesters tried to forcibly enter the Governor's House. Workers also staged a protest by blocking roads in Kalma Chowk, Thokar Niaz Baig, Babu Sabu Interchange and Shahdara.

In Karachi, PTI workers staged a sit-in at Sharah-e-Faisal. As a result, traffic was suspended Karsaz to Metroville.

Demonstrations were staged in several cities, including Multan, Faislabad and Haripur.

In Quetta, a complete shutdown was observed on the call of the PTI. On the call of the Punjab Bar Council, lawyers boycotted courts across the province.
