Shab-e-Barat being observed with devotion, religious fervour tonight

LAHORE (92 News) – The faithful will be observed Shab-e-Barat with devotion and religious fervour across the country tonight. Ulema and Khateeb, in their special sermons, will highlight the importance of the occasion. Muslims will spend the night in mosques and homes offering prayers, reciting the Holy Quran and seeking blessings from Allah for long life, peace, progress and happiness for themselves, their families, relatives and friends as well as the nation and the Muslim Ummah. People will visit graves and pray for their loved ones who are no more. Many Muslims will observe fast on the following day. They will distribute food and sweets among the neighbours and poor.
