Shab-e-Meraj being observed with great religious reverence today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The faithful is observin Shab-e-Meraj with great religious reverence and fervour across the country on Thursday night.

With the setting of sun, the faithful will gather in mosques to offer special prayers for peace, progress and prosperity of the country besides seeking forgiveness for their sins. Mahafil-e-Naat will also be arranged to achieve the blessing of Allah Almighty in the world and the life hereafter.

Special Mahafil will be arranged at Data Darbar and Badshahi Mosque.

Ulema, in their sermons, will highlight the teachings of Islam and various aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) so that the followers could lead their lives in line with the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

Moreover, the people will visit graves of their loved ones and seek Allah Almighty's blessings for the departed souls. Sepcial security arrangements have been made on the occasion.
