Shagufta Ejaz’s husband dies after five-year battle with cancer

LAHORE (92 News) - Senior actress Shagufta Ejaz’s husband Yahya Siddiqui Thursday breathed his last after a five-year battle with cancer.

Shagufta Ejaz posted a picture of her husband on her Instagram handle, informing people about his demise in the caption.

“My husband Yahya Siddiqui has passed away. Kindly recite surah Fatiha for his maghfirat. JazakAllah,” the caption reads.

It is worth mentioning here that a few days back, Shagufta Ejaz celebrated her wedding anniversary with her husband in a hospital room where he was under treatment.

She also shared a vlog of the wedding anniversary celebration on her YouTube channel. The vlog also featured their daughter, bringing a cake to the hospital, and other family members enjoying the moments.

The actress requested her fans to pray for the early recovery of her husband.

It is to be noted here that Shagufta Ejaz and Yahya Siddiqui married a few years ago, marking their second marriages.

The couple have two daughters together, and both have children from previous marriages too.
