Shah Farman announces not to stay in Governor's House

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor designate Shah Farman announced that he would not stay in the Governor's House. Speaking to the journalists, Shah Farman said that he is thankful to PTI chief Imran Khan for entrusting him for this prestigious position. "I will not use the Governor's House and 10 to 15 marla house would be enough for me, he said. Shah Farman said that the areas of FATA will be developed at par with other developed parts of the country He said people of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa have suffered a lot during the last decade. He said the tribal people gave huge sacrifices in the war against terror. He added that expenses of the governor's official residence would be cut  while its status as symbol of VIP culture would also come to an end. Talking to media at Bani Gala in Islamabad on Thursday evening, Imran Khan said Shah Farman has been nominated for the slot of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. He said after the approval of the president, Shah Farman will take oath of his office next week. He said Shah Farman has more responsibilities on his shoulder as he is also responsible for administering the tribal areas. The new Governor KP will work for expediting the process of merger of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. PM-in-waiting Imran Khan will submit his advice regarding appointment of Governors of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa soon after taking oath of his office.
