Shah Mahmood Qureshi writes a letter to NA speaker about resignations
LAHORE (92 News) - PTI vice-president Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday wrote a letter to National Assembly Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf about the resignations tendered by PTI MNAs.
He stressed the speaker to follow the law. "Under which law the resignations of 11 people were accepted? On which basis the resignations of other people are not accepted?
Talking to the media in Lahore, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Imran Khan will announced the date for dissolving the assemblies on December 17. “We are again ready to present our resignation. So I have requested the NA speaker to call us and speed up this process,” he added.
He said that the PTI government was ended by tabling the no-confidence motion.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary said that the government had told a lie. "The primary objective of the present rulers is to end cases," he added.
