Shah Mehmood Qureshi once again complains about not receiving award

MULTAN (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has expressed resentment over Prime Minister Imran Khan for not reciving the award on the basis of performance.

Adressing a ceremony in Multan on Monday, he said that the prime minister had several times praised the Foreign Ministry. “We had a successful tour of China and we received such appreciations that we never got before. The people from across the world are coming to witness the parade on March 23. It is regrettable to keep the Foreign Ministry out of the list on this occasion,” he added.

Shah Mehmood said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had recently made a successful tour to China. He is likely to make a visit to Russia soon. "Is it not a success? The world is praising our Foreign Ministry for the role it played in the evacuation process in Afghanistan,” he maintained.

About the opposition, he said that there is no unity in the opposition. “The PML-N wants the elections and the PPP does not want them,” he added.

He said that the prices which farmers have got in the tenure of PTI, compare it with the tenure of PML-N. “The government continued provision of gas to the factories of fertilizers,” he concluded.
