Shahbaz Gill announces to challenge victory of Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communications Shahbaz Gill has announced to challenge the victory of Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that PM Imran Khan had already stated that the mafia would not allow fair elections. "The Supreme Court has ordered the use of technology to stop the plunder of votes," he added.

He said that it was regrettable that the ECP did not implement the order immediately. "The credit of challenging the mafia goes to PM Imran Khan," he added.

Shahbaz Gill said that the ECP should take notice of the video of Yousaf Raza Gillani's son. "Yousaf Raza Gillani should be disqualified," he demanded.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shehzad Akbar said that it was responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to stop corruption in the Senate election. "The victory of Yousaf Raza Gillani is a bad luck," he added.
