Shahbaz Gill being tortured to get a statement against Imran Khan: Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Asad Umar has alleged that Shahbaz Gill is being tortured to get a statement against Imran Khan.

Talking to the media after meeting Shahbaz Gill in jail on Wednesday, he said that Shahbaz Gill was tortured in the custody of the Islamabad police. "All has been shown well in a fake medical report. The recovery of the mobile phone is also an excuse. The police had taken both phones on the same day," he added.

To a question, he said that he did not know why the Punjab home minister suspended the jail staff. "It is true that Shahbaz Gill was kept in solitary confinement on the first day," he added.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary demanded that an inquiry should be held in the torture of Shahbaz Gill. "It is wrong to link the PTI to the social media campaign," he maintained.
