Shahbaz Gill feeling difficulty in breathing, pain in body: medical report

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Shahbaz Gill is feeling difficulty in breathing and pain in his body.

According to a medical report submitted to the Islamabad court, 10 tests on Shahbaz Gill had been conducted and he also underwent CT scan. He needs continuous monitoring by cardiologist.

The report recommended that he should be kept in jail for the time being.

The medical board has suggested more tests of Shahbaz Gill. However, the court will decide whether Shahbaz Gill should be kept in hospital or discharged.

Meanwhile, PTI leaders have accused the Islamabad police of torturing Shahbaz Gill in custody.

Fawad Chaudhary has demanded that the people responsible for torturing Shahbaz Gill should be determined. "Shahbaz Gill has become a symbol of excesses against the PTI. It should be determined who were the armed people who reached there at night. Why were our leaders not allowed to meet Shahbaz Gill?"

He said that it would not be in the interest of any person to create a rift between the PTI and the Pak Army. "The public meeting in Karachi will be historic," he added.

Babar Awan said that Shahbaz Gill was being subjected to custodial torture. "Hospital has also been made a police station. No one is being allowed to meet Shahbaz Gill," he added.

Asad Umar said that Shahbaz Gill was facing the breathing issue and situation has worsened after the torture. "We hope the court will provide us with justice," he maintained.
