Shahbaz Sharif files Rs10bn defamation lawsuit against Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has on Friday filed defamation lawsuit against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan of Rs10 billion.

The defamation suit was filed against PTI chairman Imran Khan by the Punjab chief minister’s lawyer Mustafa Ramday in the Session Court.

According to the defamation suit, Shahbaz Sharif said that that Imran Khan falsely accused Shahbaz Sharif of making him a financial offer for silence over Panama papers case.

The court issued orders for the PTI chief to appear before the court on July 21.
