LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan announced that Shahid Afridi's reign as the captain of the Pakistan cricket team will end after the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2016. In an interview to a British media outlet, Shahryar Khan expressed disappointment over the poor performance of green shirts. He said that the decision to play with four fast bowlers against India was wrong, adding that there was supposed to be spinner in the team. There is set to be a major overhaul in the team management and the coaching structure in Pakistan, with PCB chairman Shahryar Khan indicating that the current selection committee will be disbanded post the T20 World Cup. Coach Waqar Younis is also likely to be sacked.
