NEW DELHI (92 News) – Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has on Thursday suggested a three-match series between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the new PSL champions. Peshawar Zalmi owner Javaid Afridi said that Shahrukh Khan personally called him and asked him to convince the Pakistani government while he himself would convince the Indian government for the matches to take place. The venue of the match will be decided once the governments of both countries give their go-ahead for the proposed series. Afridi added that if the series materialises, it could improve the relations between the two countries. Shahrukh Khan is not the only one who invited Zalmi for such an opportunity. Afridi revealed that following the win, he received congratulatory messages from Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Sanjay Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Nargis Fakhri. The Afghan President also invited Zalmi to come to Afghanistan and play a friendly match in Kabul.
