ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Shahzad Akbar has accused PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz of rigging in NA-120.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that an amount of Rs 2.5 billion was spent through the Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) under the rigging plan.

He also announced to send the matter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). "Maryam might go to her father before January," he said.

Shahzad Akbar said that the opposition would be held responsible if the coronavirus cases increased in Gujranwala. "My biggest desire is the return of Nawaz Sharif," he added.

Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid said that he had been speaking about the rigging in the ECP, but no one listened to her.
