Shahzad Akbar’s brother accused of attempting to occupy citizen’s land

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A citizen has accused Murad Akbar, brother of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar, of occupying his land. Jawad Sohrab, who filed a case in a civil court, alleged that Murad Akbar with 30 people had tried to occupy his flour mill on GT Road, Mundra. He said that he had been owner of the land measuring 10 kanal and five marlas since 1986. “Murad Akbar had tried to occupy my land through forged documents,” he said. The complainant alleged that Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar contacted the Rawalpindi RPO, Intelligence Bureau, Revenue Department and Islamabad police to resolve the matter. He also shared a video made during the attack. The court has issued notices to Murad Akbar for February 6. Meanwhile, Additional Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Revenue Rizwan Qadeer had been transferred and Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Saifullah Dogar had been removed.
