KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar addressed the annual dinner of Bin Qasim Traders Association on Friday. Addressing the ceremony, the Sindh Rangers DG said, “Our resolve increases with traders' trust in Rangers. We will take all the steps for improving the situation and will continue to render sacrifices to protect the nation.” There was sectarianism and bloodshed from FATA to Karachi. The enemy of the country had started predicting a dark future considering the situation five years ago, he said, and added the law and order situation has improved in the country. “India tried to take a step against Pakistan two days ago but they got a befitting reply. It has failed to prove its claim of surgical strikes,” he said. Complete action is being taken against Taliban, Al Qaeda and militant wings of political parties. The MQM offices used for illegal activities only are being demolished and at least 46 offices were handed over to their owners. A survey of offices of MQM and Sunni Tehreek has been conducted and we will extend the operation to religious parties after Muharram, he added. The communities should play their role to prevent the funding of militant organizations; they should identify such elements around them. People running abroad should return and face the court, the DG Rangers said.
