Shall not allow country’s stability to deteriorate at any cost: COAS

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday visited Pakistan Army Special Service Group (SSG) headquarters. According to tweet of Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General (DG) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, the army chief talked with the commandos and said, “We have brought stability by failing all inimical forces operating against Pak. We shall never let it go away at any cost.” “SSG is our pride with myriad contributions towards defence of country through its valiant officers and soldiers since creation of Pakistan,” COAS Bajwa said.

Earlier, chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa has said that the Army Public School (APS) carnage will not be forgotten. In a message posted by DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Twitter on Monday, COAS said: “Five of the involved terrorists have been hanged through military courts. Salute to martyrs and their families. We have come a long way in failing terrorism as a nation. United we move towards lasting peace and prosperity of Pakistan.” As many as 144 people were killed in the gruesome attack on APS and 122 of them were students.
