KARACHI: Sindh Assembly on Friday again witnessed an exchange of harsh words between Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Shehryar Mehr and Information Minister Sharjeel Memon as both criticized each others’ parties. Mehr criticized the provincial government for appointing favourite people as officers in the Sindh police. He said “Appointment of police officers is being made on personal liking and disliking”. He said that the opposition parties intend to contest senate elections jointly. Rejecting the criticism of the opposition leader, Memon said that the supporters of Pervez Musharraf would be disappointed as there was no space for them in democratic system. “If anyone has reservations over appointment of the police officers, he can go to court”, he added.
