Sharp increase in coronavirus cases reported in Balochistan

QUETTA (92 News) – A sharp increase has been reported in the coronavirus cases across the province, with positive cases rate at 12.3 percent.

On Thursday, the positive cases rate was reported at 5.4.

The smart lockdown has been imposed in Gwadar after an increase in the coronavirus cases. Wearing of facemask has been made mandatory at public places.

Meanwhile, a complete ban has been imposed on public gatherings while recreational resorts has been closed.

On the other hand, the government has decided to check the coronavirus certificates of people travelling by vehicles across the province. Overall deaths in the province have risen to 317, while the total cases reported so far 27,781.

As many as 1,397 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours.
