ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Shaukat Tarin has advised the people to worry after February and March.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, he asked the people to be patient as the prices will reduce soon. "The prices of edible items have been reduced as compared to the previous year. The inflation of imported items has hit not only Pakistan, but India as well," he maintained.
The adviser said that country's exports had increased and the economy is strengthening. "The government has collected 36 percent more revenue as compared to the last year," he added.
He said that the coal price had reduced in the international market and now the LNG price would also reduce.
Shaukat Tarin said that property valuation would be rectified. "An amount of Rs200 billion will be deducted from the PSDP," he added.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razzak Dawood said that he did not think there was something to worry.
