Shawwal moon not sighted, Eidul Fitr to be celebrated in Pakistan tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad has announced that the Shawwal moon has not been sighted in Pakistan and Eidul Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Saturday, April 22.

After a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Thursday, he said that there was no proof of sighting of the moon anywhere in the country.

On the other hand, Shawwal moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia and Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, April 21. The Shawwal moon has been sighted in Russia and several other countries. Muslims in most states of America, Austria and Scotland will celebrate Eid tomorrow.
