Shawwal moon sighted, nation to celebrate Eidul Fitr today

LAHORE (92 News) – The Shawwal moon has been sighted and Eidul Fitr will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday. This was announced by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman Mufti Munibur Rahman after confirming the evidences of the moon at the Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Tuesday. 92 News has congratulated its viewers on the Eid. Earlier, Mufti Munibur Rahman got angered at the information about the evidences about the moon on the media. He also plugged off the cable of a phone set in anger. On the other hand, the Shawwal moon was sighted in the Indian Held Kashmir. The faithful will also celebrate the Eid in Saudi Arabia, Middle East and other countries. However, the Shawwal moon was not sighted in India and Bangladesh.
