SHC again directs authorities to remove Ayyan Ali’s name from ECL

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court has on Thursday declared the inclusion of super model Ayyan Ali name in Exit Control List (ECL) null and void and directed the authorities to remove her name from ECL. A two-member bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC) headed by Justice Ahmad Ali Sheikh announced its verdict in contempt of court case against the government for removing her name off the ECL despite court orders. The court declared the null and void the government’s notification that barred the dollar girl from leaving the country and directed the authorities to lift the travel ban. The court further granted seven days to the government to file its appeal.
