SHC nullifies new delimitations just before LG polls

KARACHI (92 News) – The two-member bench led by Sindh High Court Chief Justice Faisal Arab declared new delimitations null and void immediately before the local government elections. Over 50 petitions were filed against delimitations. The court also ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold the local government elections within the stipulated period. The court ordered the Sindh government and Election Commission of Pakistan to remove the objections of the parties within five days.
