SHC orders to turn Mohatta Palace into a girls medical & dental college

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday resolved the ownership dispute of Mohatta Palace owned by Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah after 51 years, ordering to turn it into a girls medical and dental college with the consent of both parties.

The college will also include a hostel.

The court also ordered to provide the details of the luggage present in the building and income incurred during the last 30 years.

The court also sought proposals regarding financial losses for pursuing the case from both parties. The nameplate will bear the names of all legal heirs of the property.

The court adjourned the case till November 1.
