SHC rejects labour union's pleas against KESC privatization after 15 years

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court rejects the pleas of labour unions against the privatization of the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) after 15 years.

A two-member bench headed by Justice Aqeel Abbasi ruled that the privatization process was not illegal.

The court said that the applicants could not satisfy the court. The bench had reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of both parties.
