SHC reserves judgment on bail application of Dr Asim

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court reserved the judgment on the bail application of Dr Asim after hearing arguments on Wednesday. The counsel for Dr Asim submitted his medical report in the Sindh High Court on Wednesday. Justice Farooq Shah remarked that reports of all kinds can be prepared and the country is passing through very critical times. He said that the law varies in the community system. The counsel stated that Dr Asim is very sick and he needs complete rest and treatment. The NAB prosecutor opposed the application of Dr Asim, while SSGLP counsel supported the application. The NAB prosecutor said that all facilities were being provided to Dr Asim who is being treated under instructions of specialists. The counsel said that the medical board had recommended backbone surgery as well as physio and hydrotherapy of Dr Asim.
