July 8, 2019
LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has condemned a ban on homemade food for former premier Nawaz Sharif who is serving seven-year term in Kot Lakhpat jail. In a statement, he said that Mian Nawaz Sharif is a heart patient and preventive food is provided to him from his house. “It is great cruelty to deprive Nawaz Sharif of homemade food during his illness,” he said. The former Punjab chief minister said that the PTI government had gone to the last extent of revenge. “Behold Imran Khan! You cannot break up our courage through this cruelty. Our morale is high,” he added. He said that Nawaz Sharif had been the prime minister of this country thrice. “Inhuman treatment being meted out to him is very regrettable,” he added. Shehbaz Sharif demanded that provision of homemade food to Nawaz Sharif should be ensured immediately.
'Govt will be responsible if anything happened to Rana Sanaullah'
On July 3, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had stated that the government would be responsible if anything happened to party senior leader Rana Sanaullah. Addressing a press conference after visiting the family of Rana Sanaullah, he said that Rana Sanaullah is being denied medicines. Shehbaz Sharif termed the government as ‘fascist’. “Is it the model of the Madina state that the administration refused to receive the meal when Rana Sanaullah’s family went to meet him?” he said. He said that his father-like brother Nawaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz are under arrest. “Imran Khan is angry with the PML-N for raising the voice against budget and price-hike,” he added. The PML-N president said that free kidney transplant and medicines had been stopped. “We are devising a strategy with the opposition parties to become the voice of millions of people,” he said. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the corruption allegation against PML-N leader could not be leveled since the story started four years ago. “Rana Sanaullah faced the dictatorship of Ziaul Haq and Musharraf. Now he is facing the dictatorship of Imran Khan,” he said. He declared the FIR against Rana Sanaullah as ridiculous. “Each Pakistani is worried at the hands of poverty and price-hike,” he maintained.
